The Archiproducts Design Awards are an initiative of Archiproducts. With more than 230,000 products, 3,500 design brands and 2.7 million users, Archiproducts is the worlds’ largest information and inspiration network for architecture and design. The jury of the Archiproducts Design Awards consists of a group of architects, designers, creative directors, photographers and professionals who are experts in eco-design and sustainable design. They assess the products on functional design aspects as well as on innovation, sustainability and aesthetics. This year they judged more than 700 entries. Auping Noble emerged as one of the winners in the furniture category.

Auping Noble is an elegant design bed with a subdued, luxurious appearance, made of solid European oak. The large bed with wide edges and generous lounge cushions was designed by Rotterdam designer Johan van Hengel. Noble means grand and with good intentions - and this is reflected in the design, which is timeless and of sturdy quality so that it can last for generations.

I am honored that Auping Noble has been declared winner of the Archiproducts Design Award. Noble is the result of a close collaboration with great enthusiasm and dedication. I am proud to see that the qualities of the bed are so well reflected in the design and that the efforts to create a unique and sustainable bed have been noticed and rewarded by the jury." Johan van Hengel, Designer Auping Noble.
